Q: Why did the paper container get burned during cooking? When the contents of the container occupy less than full capacity and some space is left empty, it may experience an effect similar to “empty baking" in an oven, where the container may be burnt depending on the internal temperature and cooking time. Please make use of the heat-resistant container as instructed below.
Please refer to "For the Use of the Heat-Resistant Paper Cooking Containers" for further information. |

Q: How safe is a paper cup? A: The pure-white paper used for paper cups is made from stencil paper exposed and decolorized into white paper. However, it is currently impossible to decolorize the paper until it becomes completely white. At a total rate of less than 1%, pulp fiber that cannot be bleached completely sometimes remains in the paper as a black spot or fiber. We carry out inspection of the stencil papers before cup molding, but sometimes the sensor may miss a foreign substance smaller than 2 mm. In order to remove visible materials, we also carry out visual inspection to remove inferior goods before shipment. However, we stack 10 sheets and mold 10 cups at a time. When the inner side of the piled-up sheets has a substance that is difficult to find, the paper cups with remaining black fiber such as spots or strings will occasionally be shipped. In the process of inserting paper, a quality control manager carries out the random inspection of 20 sheets out of 200 per volume when production begins to check that there is neither product tampering nor dirt, and we use only material that has passed the inspection. After molding is carried out, a sufficient visual check is conducted, and we ship our products after checking that there is no dirt or product tampering. The pulp fiber itself does not have any adverse effect on the human body. We implement sufficient quality control measures and strive for advance prevention. We appreciate your understanding. |
